Ten Types of Orgasms Women Can Have:

Wednesday, July 12th, 2006

Did you know that there are ten types of orgasms women can have?

Here’s a breif summary of each one, also are suggestions that can help you with each one. If you’d like to read more on Orgasms , how to have them, give them and keep them coming? I strongly recommend Lou Paget’s Book “The Big O” – it is a great book that debunks myths, explains the physical & mental side of orgasms, the male and female orgasm, how-to suggestions, sex and spirit.

  1. Clitoral orgasm – Most common, and for most the strongest orgasm. A clitoral orgasm occurs when the clitoris is stimulated to orgasm; most women need some form of clitoral stimulation to orgasm. The nerve system involved is the pudendal nerve system, which comprised of highly sensitive nerve fibres. The clitoris glans is the only visible part of a woman’s clitoris. The most popular toys for clitoral orgasms are vibrators. Textured products like shaft sleeve also work well to stimulate her clitoris. (Want some help? try the Pocket Rocket)
  2. Vaginal and cervical – The essential truth about vaginal/cervical orgasms is that they are not as precise as the other locations. The vaginal orgasms involves the barrel of the vagina as well as the cervix (the mouth of the uterus) and may involve even the uterus itself. There is a bearing-down effect and the vaginal opening becomes more relaxed. At the point of orgasm, it sometimes happens that the penis (or any other object used for stimulation) is pushed out by the strength fo these contractions. (Want some help? try the Dual Rabbit Pearl Vibrator )
  3. G-spot and AFE (anterior fornix erotic) zone – The G-spot is an area approxiamately the size of a dime, located about two-thirds the length of your middle finger inside the vaginal entrance, above the pubic bone felt through the front wall (tummy side). When stimulated, the G-spot can enlarge to the size of a quarter. (Want some help? try the Chubby G Vibrator )
  4. Urethral (U-spot) – Like the clitoris, stimulating the urethra is also very pleasurable for some women, which makes sense since the urethra is surrounded on three sides by the clitoris and is located between the clitoral glans and the vaginal entry. (Want some help? Try the Lipstick Vibrator )
  5. Breast/nipple – breast and nipple orgasms are apparently much more common that you might think. (Want some help? Try the Ice Queen Nipple Gel )
  6. Mouth – Some women experience a mouth orgasm through kissing or while giving oral sex to a man. Other women describe the sensation as a whole body orgasm accompanied by uterine and vaginal contractions. (Want some help? Try the Nipple Nibbler – flavored lip action)
  7. Anal – Anal play is the new frontier , male and females are asking more questions about anal sex, as more people are experimenting and finding it adds spice and often a lot of sexual pleasure. Because the PC muscles encircle the anus, when it contracts during an orgasm, you can also feel it through vaginal and urethal orgasmic contractions in women and urethral and anal in men. (Want some help? Try the Butt Plug)
  8. Blended/Fusion – Is when more than one area is stimulated at the same time. For example the clitoris and the G-spot have two separate nerve systems and gives you more broader sensation.
  9. Zone – This is much more individualistic because it occurs in various parts of people’s bodies that are rarely associated with stimulation to orgasm. For Example some have experienced orgasms from having their necks licked or their fingers sucked. (Want some help? Try the Flavored Edible Massage Oil )
  10. Fantasy – A fantasy orgasm is the ability to orgasm by fantasy alone – with no genital stimulation. Only a chosen few who can have this orgasm. A lab report documented that the body’s physiological response to an imagery-induced orgasm was no different than one induced by physical stimulation (same heart rate, increase in blood pressure, pupil diameter, and pain threshold). (Want some help? Try fantasy role playing lingerie )

Sex tips travelling for a steamy holiday

Monday, June 12th, 2006

Jetting off for a dream vacation or just sneaking off for a quick weekend getaway? Here are some tips for traveling with toys and suggestions for a steamy holiday…

  • Why give inquisitive customs agents something to snicker about? Pack toys in your checked luggage rather than in your carry-on bag.
  • Whether you stow toys in your luggage or bring them on board for a little in-flight entertainment, remove the batteries while they’re not in use.
  • It’s your personal life – keep it that way with non-staining lubes and massage oils. At best, stained linens are embarrassing. At worst, they’re costly, if you have to replace the B&B;’s 600-thread-count sheets.
  • Traveling with kids or visiting family? Consider sex toys that go incognito, like those that resemble tubes of lipstick, rubber duckies, even pieces of artwork!
  • You’re on a deserted, sun-drenched beach. There’s no one around for miles. Before you indulge that sex-on-the-beach fantasy, a quick reality check. Spread out a large towel – a blanket’s even better – to keep intrusive grains of sand out of delicate places.
  • Sexperts may advise against underwater penetration, but that doesn’t mean an end to your sex-in-the-sea fantasies. Pleasure your partner orally (make it a game – who can hold their breath the longest?) or tuck a waterproof toy in your beach tote.
  • Too hot to sleep? Pop an ice cube in your mouth before, er, you-know-what. Your partner will love this refreshing and surprising treat.

How to give great head for your lover

Monday, May 15th, 2006

You’re now into the faster, rhythmical phase he’s been aching for. So get comfortable-it’s going to get wild! Try the tips techniques from Sadie Allisons book “Tickle his Pickle” as your starting point and improvise from there.

Here are some of the many suggestions from her book – Be sure to include these Bj-boosters in your bedroom next time you are in the mood!:

  • You only need to put his penis into your mouth as far as you feel comfortable. You can start shallow, and increase the depth slowly.
  • No need to limit yourself to one technique – try three or more in the same session, along with different speeds, pressures, grips and motions. Slow down, speed up. Keep him guessing what’s next.
  • Pay attention to what’s going on inside your mouth. Make sure it’s always nice n’ slipery, keep your teeth out of the way, run his head along the roof of your mouth for a bumpy ridge effect, lick the tip of his head whiles it’s inside and swirl on it with your tongue.
  • Look at him seductively through your hanging hair. Later, tie it back so he can see you. Or ask him to hold it for you. Look up into his eyes while you’re pleasing him, grin seductively and whisper, “Do you like that baby?”
  • If you get dry, sip more water or just drizzle on more flavoured lube. Don’t be shy-make a sexy production out of it.
  • Be noisy. He loves the sounds of sucking, oohing and aah-ing, as well as the vibrations of you humming.
  • Now break out the vibrators! Give him the wonderful sensation of vibrations along with the soft warm feel of your mouth.

How to Fix Your Broken Vibrators and Sex Toys

Monday, May 1st, 2006

Imagine this….you have your mind set on sex and a little horny, no one is home but yourself. You slip into sexy lingerie, grab your toy box from under the bed or the closet and happily fondle your best friend (maybe it’s your Rabbit Pearl (the one that was mentioned on Sex and the City), Fun Factory Gigolo or even your Laya Spot Vibrator) and finally you are prepared and climb in between the sheets. Your in the “mood” and mentally ready to reach the big “O” and unexpectantly your vibrator doesn’t turn on…what the %&^%#, how disappointing!

I really think that there is no correlation to the amount of attention we give our sex toys and their life span. Also, I have found sometimes that my cheapest toy has outlasted my more expensive toys….not sure what I do differently or why this happens?

There are some ways to bring your inexpensive but much beloved sex vibe back to life. Here are some tips on fixing common problems with battery powered sex toys and vibrators:

1) I know everyone’s first reasoning is “awe… the batteries have konked out on me” , but it is not always true… this would be my first reaction and hopefully I have extra ones in my drawer…as nothing kills the mood as to run to the local supermarket to get new ones!

2) Fix the spring – sometimes the spring become flattened and you need to fluff it back up so it reaches the connector of your batteries. So open up your vibrator and gently pull the spring up a little bit.

3) Make sure the connector and spring aren’t blocked by anything (ie for some vibrators there will be a piece of paper rolled up in the shaft to muff the noice of your batteries when vibrating) You can take the piece of paper out or even replace it with a stiffer peice of newer paper).

If all else fails, it’s definately time to give your old friend a funeral and go shopping for a new one….maybe something different (hmmn maybe my next one will be the Sinnflut Waterproof rechargeable!)

Cleaning your Sex toys, dildos and Vibrators

Thursday, April 20th, 2006

For most toys you can use Regular soap (anti bacterial hand soap works well) and warm water will clean your toy, as long as you do it every time you play with your toy. We also recommend Safe Suds Toy Cleaner.

Below we have some guidelines to follow, depending on the what kind material your sex toys are.

A good tip for all type of toys is to use condoms at all times for 100% cleanliness. Especially if you swap between the anal and vaginal area or if you share your toys.

Silicone
Silicone sex toys ( Fun Factory G-Spot Worm Vibrator or the Dual Rabbit Vibrator ) are the easiest to clean and the most sterile as they are not porous. You can run silicone dildos through the dishwasher or in boiling water. (Note: don’t ever submerge toys in water that are electric or battery powered) You can even bleach your silicone toy in a 10 per cent solution. Make sure you have dried your toys before you put it away.

Jelly & Rubber
Porous toys like jelly ( Slim Jelly Fantasy Vibrator or Jelly Anal Beads ) and rubber (more poruos than jelly) ( like the Clone-a-Willy ) are much harder to sterilize so they should be used with a condom, which I’d prefer to do anyways! Also a good practice is to replace your more porous toys every 6-8 months.

Note: if you have Cyberskin toys, you’ll have to clean them, pat them dry and powder them which I find way to messy) and I also heard that some baby powders or talcum powders as talc has been linked to cervical cancer…not good…so an alternate would be to use something more natural like corn starch.

Metal
As with silicone, metal toys (G-Spot Mini Waterproof Vibrator ) is a hardy beast and can be disinfected, boiled and made to face assorted forms of abuse in the name of cleanliness – but always make sure to dry it properly.

Plastic
Plastic Toys (like Velvet Touch Vibrators or the Pleasure Commander Bullet Vibrator ) only need a gentle rub with a cotton wool ball soaked in alcohol is the best cleaning solution for plastic, though rinse your toy afterwards so the alcohol doesn’t come into contact with your precious parts.

Leather
Treat your leather toy with all the love and cleanly kindness you’d show a vintage leather jacket. Rub it down regularly but gently with a damp rag.

Where to hide your sex toys

Where to hide your sex toys?

It is a common question that many people have asked themselves when they have brought their new toys home…

Here’s a few suggestions:

  1. Try it in your nightstand – by far this is the number one choice and the easiest to reach when you are in the mood. If you have any nosy children or a mother-in-law that helps you clean up the house, this may not be the idea spot for you…so read on.
  2. Try a shoe box and leave it under your bed or in the bottom of your closet
  3. Gift Boxes – I have had some customers purchase a Honey Gift Box set and kept their gift box for their sex toy storage! what a nifty idea!
  4. Between the matress is also an option – if you have expensive toys that you are worried will break – make sure you put the toys by the head area so it will be safe with less weight on it….I have had no issues and personally like this hiding spot.
  5. Custom Casing – some people have invested in a solution that is similar to a mini treasure chest with a padlock. This solution can be expensive, but if you have very nosy kids and a cleaning lady, this is the perfect solution.
  6. Larger Tuberware Containers – this is my second best spot….(my favorite one is under the mattress ) and my back-ups toys(my whole stash) are in my larger tuberware container (It’s Opaque- not see through), I have my container under my bed or hidden in my closet.

sexual fatique and tips to revive foreplay

Tuesday, February 7th, 2006

If your sex life is stuck in a rut, start again from scratch. Break your sexual fatigue by throwing out all your preconceptions, banishing bad bedroom habits and learning how to make love again. Talk about it, play with it, experiment with sex to find out what you now like, as opposed to what made you tick when you first got together. And keep the passion alive by adding in new excitements and sexual surprises that may seem a bit wild but will get your juices flowing.

Here’s some tips to get that foreplay back:

  • Look at foreplay in a different way than you had before, it really doesn’t have to be serious. Maybe break the ice by playing a fun adult game like Poker for Lovers or even tie up your lover with a set of furry handcuffs.
  • Swap dirty dreams. Ask him to say out loud his sexual fantasy and then you say the next sentence. Move the story on one sentence at a time – and as you get to the physical bits, act out what you’re describing. Need some ideas, try Fore Playing Cards.
  • Now take it in turns to blindfold each other with a silk brocade blindfold for, perhaps, fifteen minutes. During that time, the one who isn’t blindfolded surprises the other, perhaps by feeding them, touching them, licking them. Try using a sensual body feather or some Body Licks Skin Candy. No nasty shocks though – make it all gentle and loving.
  • Cuddled up close, then masturbate in front of each other. This’ll not only be a turn on – it’ll also teach both of you about what you really like. If you feel shy, do it in the dark, with your hand over his as he plays, or his over yours as you do. This way reduces potential embarrassment, but you still learn about each other. If you are not shy, take it another step further get a Fuzuoku Finger Vibe!

Top 5 Five Ways to Extend the Life of Your Vibrator

Wednesday, February 1st, 2006

While most battery powered vibrators come with a built in obsolescence, there are a few key things you can do to extend the life of your toy.

1) Don’t Run It Too Long
With very few exceptions, most vibrators should only be run for 20-30 minutes at a time. The motors are small and need to cool down. They can overheat easily, and even if you do not it out the first time, the wear on the motor reduces the life span of the toy.

2) Remove the Batteries When Not In Use
This is important for two reasons. Firstly, it prevents you from leaving the vibrator on accidentally, which will burn out the motor. It also reduces the chance of the batteries corroding inside the vibrator, which will usually mean the end of the toy.

3) Use Condoms on a Plain Rubber Vibrator
If your vibrator is not made of silicone and is not hard plastic, it is likely made of an inexpensive, porous form of rubber mix. These toys are notoriously hard to keep clean, and they can get dirty and stay dirty from regular use. Using a condom on these toys will both reduce your chance of reacting to the material and make the material last longer as you won’t have to be scrubbing it after each use.

4) Be Gentle
With attachment cords and battery caps it’s important to be gentle with your toys. Don’t pull on the cords, and never use a cord to retrieve a toy! Make sure not to screw the caps on too tight. If the cap is in two parts (often they are red and black) make sure to only use the dial to adjust the speed, not to open and close the toy.

5) Watch the Seal on Waterproof Toys
More and more vibrators are waterproof these days. This is made possible by a rubber O-ring that fits along the rim of the vibrator. Once the O-ring breaks your toy is no longer waterproof and you either need to keep it out of the water or replace the o-ring.

Sexy Valentines Bath or Hot Tub for two?

Friday, January 27th, 2006

Turn the bath into a romantic sexy getaway for two on Valentines. Here’s some great suggestions to think about on making the special day bubbly and very erotic!

When your loved one get’s home from work (you left early to prepare of course!), drop a path of rose petals from the front door into the bathroom or towards the hot tub…this will set the mood for sure!

Light a few candles and dim the lights. Some of my girlfriends favorites are the body candles, which can be used as body oil as well. Body Candles have a fragranced combination of waxes and oils designed for erotic massage. The body candle burns like a typical aromatic candle, creating a mood and filling the air with enticing scents. It drips and pours over your skin like a regular wax candle leaving sensations of warmth.

Drop an exotic scoop of Treasures of the Sea in your bath, which will transport it into the shimmering turquoise waters of the ocean. Try any kind of sensual bath salts (not sleepy lavendar though) maybe something like Kama Sutra Treasures of the Sea.

Are you the Naughty or the Nice girl? It doesn’t matter when you can choose from two fun vibrator designs.

For the Naughty girl. There’s Red Devil Duckie who is a good duck gone bad! This devil is dressed for mischief and powered up for fun. Costumed in a flowing red cape and cute little horns, this duckie is perfect for the bath, pool or spa. Designed to make your first shared bath especially invigorating!

For the Nice girl. About half the size of the Red Devil Duckie, I Rub My Duckie is perfectly sized for travel. Exceptionally quiet, it offers amazingly strong vibration. With its innocent eyes and traditional rubber duck body, it is the most discreet massager/vibrator available. Just press down on duckie’s back and relax as powerful waves of vibration soothe away the stresses and tensions of daily life.

Splish splash, have some fun and sex on valentines!

Where is the G Spot?

Saturday, January 14th, 2006

Sexinfo101 website states: If your partner is lying on her back, then her Grafenberg Area, commonly known as the G Spot, is located roughly 1.5″ inside her vagina on the upper wall. The most ultimate orgasms come from a woman having her G Spot stimulated. This area inside the vagina typically has a different texture; ridged (not as smooth) as the rest of her vagina, and when aroused feels spongy. A G Spot orgasm is often associated with the mystical legend of female ejaculation and 15-30 minutes of a euphoric sensation where she is in complete bliss… Don’t expect much from her during this time, she is in heaven.

Here’s some of the favorite G-Spot Vibrators:

Natural Contours Ultime – A mid ranged priced vibrator. This unique sky blue massager is the first of its kind. The ‘U’ shape delivers strong vibrations on both ends, allowing it to simultaneously provide G-spot and clitoral stimulation. Three-speed design.

Fun Factory G-Spot Worm – These cute little playmates are perfectly curved to zone in on your G-Spot! Made of silicone, the highest quaity, softest material available. Hypoallergenic, non-porous and retains body heat. Extremely quiet motor, flexible and soft with variable speed dial.

G-spot Rabbit Vibrator – The rabbit dual vibrator/dildo has gotten even more creative by adding a g-spot curve.

Crystalessence Chubby G-Spot Vibrator – A less expensive G-Spot vibrator. Variable speed vibrator curved for G-spot stimulation. This waterproof vibe comes in pink.
